2003 - Parking lot expansion -

2001 - GSWC is now ministering community wide and known in the city.  People are coming to know Christ on a regular basis and following Him in believer's baptism.  Discipleship classes, along with Membership classes and small groups, continue as new members join every year.
June 17, 2001, we shall dedicate a new $300,000 educational, 2,500 sq. ft. expansion to be used in conjunction remodel of the former chapel.  This new addition has been built where the cross (in the above picture) is facing West.  A new roof has been placed over the entire building, and the church has been painted.  A new lighted sign now sits on the corner with an inspiring message each week welcoming people to attend the services and visit the web site, www.gswc.org.  The original cross, placed in 1987, was taken down, and is now replaced with a large, beautiful cross, set in river rock, on the front side of the new addition.

1993 -  The new auditorium and wooden sign is placed, and the church continues to grow and mature.  Healthy services, finances increasing, attendance up, service to the community continues as the Pastor serves as Chaplain for the Carson City Sheriff's Department and the Chaplain for the Carson Tahoe Hospital and Nevada State Legislature.

1992 - Our 240 seat auditorium was being built along with a complete remodel of the existing facility and the parking lot was doubled.  Over 300 attended the Dedication service held December 1992 with the new auditorium and improvements paid in full. GSWC in 1992

1987 - The results after the first initial clean-up of the church:  GSWC 1987 after being landscaped
The church begins to grow from 17 chairs to 93 chairs filled in a few years.  This unit housed the 29'x50' chapel, two bathrooms, nursery, one classroom and a kitchen.  It was used to it's fullest!

Here it is, the year 1887...oops!  I mean 1987, the church as it was -
