Good Shepherd Wesleyan Church of Carson City has long been known for its welcome to everyone and that includes service dogs that are regular attendees at the services. Although they do graduate and go to graduate school and/or to a person in need of a service dog, it is wonderful to have them part of the service.  They pay attention to the sermon too!  When their name happens to be mentioned in a sermon they sit up and look right at the pastor.  Now to train them to bark at the good points of the sermon.

 

Above is a picture of "Brian", the latest to complete school and move on to grad school.  He has been at GSWC since he was a puppy.  With Brian are his trainers, Judge Judy who serves in the Nevada Supreme Court, Bob who serves the VA and sells property on the side and Samantha who directs the Nevada State Library.
